Why Android Phones Can't Use Google Play to Download Binance
The Binance app is listed on Google Play, and theoretically Android users can search for and download it directly. But for mainland China Android users, this route is essentially unusable for two reasons:
First, Android phones sold in mainland China (Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Honor, etc.) basically don't come with the Google Play Services Framework (GMS) pre-installed. Without GMS, phones cannot install or run the Google Play Store.
Second, even if you manage to install Google Play, you can't directly connect to Google's servers from mainland China's network environment without special network tools.
So for the vast majority of mainland China Android users, downloading the APK installation package directly from the Binance official website is the most practical option.
Steps to Download APK from the Binance Website
This is the most recommended and safest download method.
Step 1: Visit the Binance official website.
Open the Binance website using your phone browser (Chrome, UC Browser, QQ Browser, etc.). Since the main site may be blocked domestically, you may need network tools to access it.
Step 2: Find the download entry.
On the Binance homepage or top navigation bar, there's usually a "Download" button or link. Click to enter the download page.
Step 3: Select the Android version.
On the download page, you'll see iOS and Android options. Select Android, then click the "Download APK" button.
Step 4: Wait for the download to complete.
The APK file is typically 50-100MB in size. Download speed depends on your network environment. Once complete, the file will be saved in your phone's "Downloads" folder.
Step 5: Install the APK.
Find the downloaded APK file in your phone's file manager and tap to install. On first installation, the system may prompt "Installation from this source is not allowed"—you'll need to allow your browser to install apps from unknown sources in settings.

- Xiaomi/Redmi: Settings → Privacy Protection → Special App Access → Install Unknown Apps → Select Browser → Allow
- Huawei/Honor: Settings → Security → More Security Settings → Install Unknown Apps

After granting permission, return and tap install again, then follow the prompts to complete installation.
How to Verify the Downloaded APK Is Genuine
This is a very important step. There are many counterfeit Binance apps online that look nearly identical to the real one but are actually phishing software—once you enter your account credentials or private key information, it will be stolen.
Here are several methods to verify APK authenticity:
Method 1: Only download from the official website. The simplest and most effective method—ensure you downloaded the APK from Binance's official website, not from a third-party site found through search engines, WeChat groups, Telegram groups, or forum posts.
Method 2: Use Binance's official verification tool. Binance provides an online verification tool (Binance Verify) that you can find on the official website. This tool can verify whether domain names, email addresses, app packages, and more are officially from Binance.
Method 3: Check the APK's signature information. If you have some technical knowledge, you can use an APK signature checking tool to examine the digital signature of the downloaded file. The genuine Binance app's signature certificate information should be consistent.
Method 4: Check app behavior after installation. The genuine Binance app won't request excessive sensitive permissions after installation (such as unnecessarily requesting contacts or SMS access). If the app requests many permissions unrelated to trading, it may be a counterfeit.
Common Download and Installation Issues
Issue 1: APK download interrupts halfway.
